What is the role of the alumni Sinfonian?

The alumni Sinfonian has an obligation to support the Fraternity’s efforts to build musical students into men of high ideals and to ensure that the Sinfonia experience is available for generations of students to come.

The Zeta Tau chapter is continually working to build musicianly men into manly musicians and to promote music in America. In our efforts, however, we often find that cost is a factor in our endeavors. If, as an alumni Sinfonian, you are financially able to support chapter operations through a charitable donation, the Zeta Tau chapter will put your donation to good use.

Every year we budget funds to printing; programs, posters, scores, alumni newsletters, and more. We reimburse brothers for gasoline used to drive to Province Meetings and other chapter’s Initiation Ceremonies. We often make charitable donations to music organizations and events ourselves. Our website and email lists have hosting fees associated with them.  There are expenses too numerous to list, but when financial concerns are lessened, we can focus on what is most important: building a strong brotherhood and making music in America.
